LUCHYD
LUCHYD, the first polyurethane elastomer resistant against strong acids and alkalines, under dynamic load conditions!
Most important feature of LUCHYD is the excellent chemical resistance, specifically in acidic and alkaline environment. On top of that the mechanical strength for which polyurethane elastomers are known. Typically, LUCHYD(-AR) is used for squeeze or sink rollers in pickling and cleaning lines with strong acids and lye’s, in high concentrations and at high temperatures. LUCHYD is available in hardness’s from 70 to 95 Shore A.

LUCHYD-AR
Suitable for higher concentrations compared to the standard LUCHYD. Strong acids and lye’s in very high concentrations (> 25%) and at high temperatures (95°C). Available from 70 to 85°A.
A number of LUCHYD grades can be supplied with antistatic properties (AS) and/or with an anti-adhesive (non-sticking) surface (NK), as a substitute for silicon and PTFE materials.
