Areas of Application
Polyurethane (PU) products are integral to the food industry, where their versatility and food-safe characteristics make them indispensable. PU covered rollers and wheels are used in all kinds of food processing machines, for example drive and idler rollers for (belt)conveyor systems, but also very specific applications like rollers for depositing flour in bakery equipment. PU moulded parts are also found in the food industry, for example hydrocyclones and bowl scrapers.

1) EU regulations do not distinguish between dry and wet applications. Therefore LUCTHAAN-FD as well as LUCTHAAN-FW series can be used for both Dry Food and Wet Food applications.
